- Channel manager
Software that syncs availability and rates across booking platforms.
- Cleaner notification
Telling a cleaning crew a unit needs turnover, usually by message.
- Co-host
Someone who operates a listing on behalf of the property owner.
- Direct booking
A reservation made straight through the host's own site, not a marketplace.
- Folio
The running record of charges and payments for a single stay.
- Gap night
A single unbooked night between two reservations, too short to easily rebook.
- Host response time
How long a host takes to reply to a guest enquiry or message.
- Human-in-the-loop
A workflow step that pauses for a person to approve before continuing.
- Inquiry assist
Software that drafts a reply to a guest question for a human to review and send.
- Property management system (PMS)
The software of record for bookings, calendars, and guest details.
- Run history
A record of every automated handoff and what happened when it ran.
- Same-day turn
A checkout and check-in on the same calendar day for the same unit.
- Smart lock PIN
A time-boxed door code issued for the length of a specific stay.
- Stop-sell
Blocking a unit from being booked, usually while it is not guest-ready.
- Turnover
The full sequence between one guest checking out and the next checking in.
- Villa manager
An operator responsible for one or more standalone villa properties.
