Same-day turn
A checkout and check-in on the same calendar day for the same unit.
Same-day turns leave the smallest possible margin for a stalled handoff. If the cleaner is notified late or the PIN is not reissued in time, the incoming guest feels it immediately. Portfolios that run a high rate of same-day turns benefit most from automated cleaner and lock handoffs.
